Ingredients
Grated coconut - 4-5 cups
Condensed milk - 1 tin (400gm)
Desiccated coconut - 1/2 cup
Butter - 1 tbsp
Mix the grated coconut and condensed milk in a kadai. Cook over a low flame. Keep stirring in between. When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the kadai , check whether the coconut is cooked properly and remove it from the burner. Note that the mixture should be very dry and water content should be as less as possible. Otherwise it will become difficult to roll the mixture. Butter your hand and make lemon sized balls of the mixture before it becomes cold. Finally coat the laddus with desiccated coconut.Delicious coconut laddus are ready to eat.
You can add cardamom powder and cashew or raisins fried in ghee while making the laddus.
